Landfall in FL panhandle as a tropical storm, remnants spawned tornadoes
that caused several deaths

Tropical Storm Gaston
Landfall in South Carolina as a strong tropical storm, caused deadly
flooding in Richmond, VA

Hurricane Frances Landfalls
in the Central Bahamas (Cat. 4, 3, 2), south-central Florida coast (Cat. 2),
and Florida Panhandle (TS)

Hurricane Ivan
After a deadly rampage through the Caribbean, Ivan crashed ashore at Gulf
Shores, AL (Cat. 3), causing billions in damage.

Hurricane Jeanne Jeanne hit Puerto Rico,
killed over 1500 in Haiti, then slammed (Cat. 3) Florida's storm-weary east
coast in the same spot as Frances.
