Fastest Known Times for (FKT's) for Arthurs Rock
Arthurs Rock a prominent rock outcropping visible from Fort Collins.
The route follows a well-built trail through small canyon, up some switchbacks,
through a couple meadows, and then up a series of grueling switchbacks to the
top of Arthurs Rock. This is a classic hill climb. To time trial this route,
start at the sign-in register on the north side of the parking lot at the
Arthurs Rock Trailhead. To be considered an official FKT, you must stay on the
official Arthurs Rock Trail (no switchback cutting). Ascent time stops when you reach the
highest point.
Return the same way back to the sign-in register. Time spent at the top does count
if you are going for the round-trip time.
